Vehicle Database

Members receive the Autoclimate vehicle database - a powerful stand-alone application based on DVLA and SMMT data. By entering the vehicle registration, 35 fields of information about the vehicle are presented. This facility makes it easier, quicker and more accurate to produce repair estimates and to notify parts suppliers about the exact vehicle and derivative. The risks of downstream parts problems are therefore minimised with a greater chance of right first time ordering. 

 

Autocat Pro

 

Members receive Autocat Pro - a quarterly issued CD of vehicle technical data. 

Autocat Pro includes information about refrigerant gas charges, A/C oil types, diagnostic information and technical data covering over 3500 vehicle make/model derivatives.

 

 

Equipment Rental


Members are able to acquire Autoclimate Refrigerant Management Stations and other specified equipment on 3 year inclusive rental terms and avoid the need for capital investment
 
For example:
A Robinair V90 refrigerant management station inclusive of 3 years warranty and annual maintenance or a Hella Mega Macs 42 diagnostic tool inclusive of 3 years warranty and vehicle data updates. 

 

Training

Members receive unlimited A/C training – free of charge*. This is an especially valuable and beneficial element of the Autoclimate Membership Programme. Courses are held on-site or at the Autoclimate training centre in Shrewsbury. 

Refrigerant Handling Certification - the legal requirement for all technicians servicing A/C systems. A/C Vocational Training – A series of C&G accredited modular courses (equivalent to NVQ Level 3), a nationally recognised qualification

Interceptor system

Members receive the Autoclimate Interceptor estimate-to-parts procurement system. Installed at the accident repairer – the client end, Interceptor interacts seamlessly with bodyshop management and estimating systems, free of operator intervention. Following creation, each estimate is automatically detected by Interceptor and the line-by-line parts requirements, together with the vehicle identity information, are passed to the host system, more..


Management Information

Members are able to access a range of on-line management reports about their own trading position with Autoclimate. Transaction visibility provides the opportunity to focus on more efficient purchasing and to secure additional financial savings.


Reports cover:


Parts purchases
Monthly expenditure, savings from manufacturer retail prices, usage by product group

Lost opportunities
Schedules quoted parts – not ordered. Presents savings which may not have been achieved if parts were subsequently purchased from another supplier.

If required, management information can be reviewed in consultation with an Autoclimate regional business manager. A consultation can include a comparison of results with benchmark data and highlight opportunities to save more and increase the profitability of future purchasing.
 
Parts purchase rebate
Members, who enjoy special member price terms for parts, tools and consumables, subsequently receive the additional benefit of a monthly purchase rebate as part of the membership programme.  The rebate represents a clear and valuable contribution to bottom line performance.

Parts locator
Members are able to locate and source parts which are held at franchised dealers who are members of the parts locator programme. This facility is ideally suited where the subscriber’s regular suppliers are unable to provide the part without creating a stock or back order position. Obtaining the part more quickly can mean that the job is completed sooner, and the repaired vehicle returned to the customer. 

 

 

Repairer Approved Product Scheme

Subscribers are invited to join the Autoclimate Repairer Approved Product Scheme (RAPS).
